1 John 2:14

KJV says:

I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

Chucks Bible Commentary says the following about this verse:

I write unto you, young men, because you are strong, because the Word of God abides in you.

The Word of God is the source of Strength for the Believer, and it enables him or her to overcome the wicked one. The more of God's Word I have, the greater my strength.
