God's precious Word is able to nourish me and help me to grow:

1 Peter 2:2

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby (KJV)

So clean house! Make a clean sweep of malice and pretense, envy and hurtful talk. You’ve had a taste of God. Now, like infants at the breast, drink deep of God’s pure kindness. Then you’ll grow up mature and whole in God. (MSG)

Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto (completed) salvation (AMPC)
