Theme: Relating to the Government

Romans 13:1-7 Paul admonishes the Believer to be subject to government for 2 reasons:

  1. To escape punishment that comes with rebelling against civil authority.
  2. It is the right way to live

We saw that Jesus, who did not have to pay taxes, paid; “so that He doesn’t offend”.

God is interested in how we live in this world, so much so that He gives us examples about how to conduct our affairs.

All scripture is God breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for a proof, and for correction in Righteousness; that the man of God may be equipped, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
