Spiritual warfare

Here's how Paul described spiritual warfare: 2 Cor 10:3-6

Even though we live in this world, we do not conduct warfare like this world does. The weapons of our warfare are not canal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exists itself against the knowledge of God, and brigning into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Did you notice the pointers Paul gave to the things we're fighting against? he says we're to cast down strongholds. But where are these strongholds? He says they are imaginations :šŸ˜² and high things that are contrary (do not agree with God).

He says we're to bring thoughts into captivity. This implies that as Believers, we can actually have thoughts that do not agree with God, and we are to bring them into obedience.

The above scripture gives us the location of the strongholds. It's the mind. The Believer's mind is the battleground for spiritual warfare.

How do I conduct spiritual warfare? I agree with God about my Identity. I declare:

My mind is the mind of Christ.

I think the thoughts of Christ.

The thoughts of Christ are that:

I am Justified (declared-guiltless) in Christ

I was redeemed from the kingdom of darkness,

And translated into the Kingdom of Godā€™s dear Son Jesus

I am seated together with Christ in Heavenly places

Satan, has no hold over me.

I belong to Jesus, the one who loved me and died for me. I have been bought with the precious blood of the Son of God

The price for my redemption was paid in full

Get away from me satan. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.

I think the thoughts of Christ.

I yield my mind to think the thoughts of Christ.

I see myself as God sees me. Justified, Sanctified, Redeemed, in Christ.

Amen.
